2016 is the 101st ANNIVERSARY of Kiwanis International! Kiwanis Clubs consist of community-minded men and women who give time and effort to help so many worthy and youth oriented causes. This event will help raise funds for Kiwanis community service projects. The Kiwanis Club of Belleville has sponsored many important projects including the Quinte Science and Technology Fair, High School scholarships, drug awareness, and the Terrific Kids Program (a program established in Belleville to recognize school students for improvements in behavior, peer relationships, attendance and school work), as well as financial support of local programs such as Adopt A Child, Good Backpack Program, and Good Baby Food Box. One of the Kiwanis Clubs’ capital accomplishments is the Kiwanis Skateboard Park. The park has been a huge hit and a fantastic addition to the community.
